Your first routes after leaving Mostar Airport
The airport in Ortiješ is located in an excellent strategic position, right next to the M17 main road that connects the north and south of the country.
Towards Međugorje
After leaving the airport, you join the M17 main road heading south, and then follow the clear signs to turn off towards Čitluk and Međugorje. The road is in excellent condition, the drive takes about 25 to 30 minutes and leads you through the beautiful Herzegovina vineyards.
Towards the centre of Mostar
From the airport car park you head north, following the M17 main road directly towards the city. The centre and the Old Town are about 7 kilometres away, which takes around 10 minutes outside the traffic rush hour. Be careful, as speed-camera checks are frequent on this route.
